Our client operates a 5-star resort with 20 rooms on a private island in Panama, dedicated to delivering a luxurious experience to their guests. As part of their energy plan, they sought to implement a green energy solution to reduce dependence on traditional power sources.
The client required an off-grid solar power system with the following features:
1.Automatically activate the generator when the battery drops to 20%.
2.Switch back to battery power when the charge reaches 80%, and use solar power when available while simultaneously charging the batteries.
3.Fully automated energy management to maximize efficiency.
4.A comprehensive solution that includes installation and commissioning, as it is challenging to find solar equipment locally in Panama.
We provided a customized off-grid solar power system equipped with an EMS (Energy Management System) to intelligently manage energy distribution between solar panels, batteries, and the generator. Our technical team ensured that the system could seamlessly meet the client’s high standards for automation.
*Dispatching a fluent English-speaking professional engineer to Panama for installation and commissioning.
*Training the resort’s electricians to operate and maintain the solar power system for long-term reliability.
*5 years free online maintenance. Our engineers regularly check the power generation data of solar panels, the charge and discharge data of lithium batteries, and the output data of inverters.
After finalizing the order through video meetings, we successfully completed the design, production, and delivery of the system. The client appreciated our comprehensive solution, which enabled them to confidently deploy this advanced energy system. After 8 months, the entire solar system paid for itself, saving the customer the cost of diesel.
“The Tanfon team was incredibly professional. The entire process, from system design to installation, was seamless. Their engineer not only ensured smooth installation but also trained our team thoroughly. Now our resort is energy independent and provides an authentic eco-friendly experience for our guests.”

The King of the Democratic Republic of the Congo has provided a solar energy storage power station system for the village of Bunkeya to meet the electricity needs of 2500 small households in the village. As the village currently lacks access to the grid, the King requested the design of a 1MW solar panel system paired with a 1.8MWh lithium battery storage system to power the entire village.
