TANFON investigates hotel solar system project in South Sudan

We provide services to survey the roof conditions and diesel generator situation of the hotel.
The hotel has two diesel generators, one with a capacity of 1100KVA and the other with a capacity of 550KVA. Currently, the 1100KVA generator is in operation, with a load of approximately 320KW, accounting for about 80% of the total load. The peak power of the full load is approximately 500KW, and the rated power is approximately 400KW. The electricity and diesel bills for this hotel amount to approximately USD 60,000 per month.

The local electricity cost is around USD 0.45/KWH, and the diesel price is approximately USD 1.4/Liter.
There are a total of four buildings in the hotel, with a roof area of approximately 2000 square meters. Based on the installable solar panel area on the roof and the customer's usage, we estimate a payback period of approximately two years for this investment. This investment offers a very high return on investment.
