Kibing Group (13.040, -0.22, -1.66%) announced that Chenzhou Photovoltaic, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, plans to invest in two new 1200t/d photovoltaic glass production lines in Sabah, Malaysia, with a total planned investment of about 3.12 billion yuan. In order to ensure the safety of sand use and supply for overseas photovoltaic glass production lines, and to extend and build an integrated industrial chain, the company decided to simultaneously invest in the construction of a quartz sand production base in Sabah, Malaysia. The total planned investment of the project is about 850 million yuan.
The company announced on the same day that the company plans to use the roofs of factories under construction and new construction in Changxing County, Zhejiang Province, Liling City, Hunan Province, Tianjin City, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, and Chenzhou City, Hunan Province to invest in distributed photovoltaic power plants.
