Hong Kong began accepting applications for the "On-grid Electricity Price Plan" from the end of August last year. As the main body of early participation, Ocean Park has set an example for the wider application of clean energy in Hong Kong. Ocean Park said that the construction of solar energy system project in the park will not only have considerable economic benefits, but also contribute to the use of green energy. Ocean Park also revealed that there are still many places in the park that can be used to install distributed solar energy system, and will consider continuing to implement photovoltaic power generation applications throughout the park.
Longji Leye provided 600 double-sided PERC monocrystalline modules for the project, which has long service life and high conversion efficiency, which provides a strong guarantee for the stable and continuous operation of the solar energy system project. At present, the project has been completed and successfully connected to the grid in the first quarter of this year. It is estimated that the annual power generation will be nearly 200,000 kWh, which will provide 50 households with one year of electricity consumption.
