The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) seeks the services of experienced and reputable organizations to supply, deliver and install a solar hybrid back-up system for the Agency’s Head Office Complex. This is part of the Agency’s drive to ensure sustainable business continuity in line with Central Government’s directive.


A. Project Objectives: 
The Agency requires solar power systems to maximize energy independence by minimizing reliance on the utility grid and backup generators, and also minimizing the Agency’s carbon footprint to promote environmental sustainability.
1. Maximise daytime power voltage input: We aim to generate as much solar power as possible during daylight hours to meet the Agency’s daytime electricity needs.
2. Battery storage for backup and support: We require a battery storage system with sufficient capacity to allow operations of up to 24 hours 
completely off-grid.
3. Supplement daytime power: Ensure essential equipment continues to operate during off-peak hours (night). Provide backup power during inclement weather or early morning hours when solar production is low. Warranty: Provide a comprehensive warranty on all equipment and workmanship of not less than 2 years.
