TECHNICAL REPORT FOR SOLAR INSTALLATION SITE INSPECTION

Modular Unit Solar System Site Inspection Report
1. Executive Summary
This report presents a comprehensive overview of the site inspection conducted
for the installation of a modular solar unit system. The client opted to install the
system for a designated section of the factory. According to the load
documentation provided by the factory engineer, the total assessed load amounts
to approximately 106 kW. Key findings, recommendations, and feasibility
analyses are outlined in the following sections.

2. Objective of Inspection
The objective of this inspection was to:
• Assess the suitability of the selected factory section for a modular unit
solar installation.
• Verify the factory load based on documentation provided by the factory
engineer.
• Evaluate the structural and electrical systems to determine the feasibility
of installing a solar system to support the 106kW load.

3. Site Details
• Location:
Iloko Rd, Ilesha, Osun State
(DE-SHALOM
PHARMACEUTICALS)
• Section Assessed: a section of the production unit• Available Space: the roof is available for solar panels
• Roof Condition: tilt
• Shading Analysis: No significant shading issues were identified in the
inspected section.
• Orientation: The roof is suitable for solar installation with appropriate
orientation for maximum sunlight exposure.

4. Load Assessment
• Total Load: The total load for the section, based on the documentation
provided by the factory engineer, was calculated to be 106 kW.
• Key Loads Identified:
o ORAL COMPOUNDING ROOM – 40,875W
o ORAL FILLING ROOM – 19,120W
o ORAL PACKAGING ROOM – 19,250W
o EXTERNAL COMPOUNDING ROOM – 26,413W
TOTAL = 105,658W
• Load Profile: The equipment in this section operates for a minimum of
18 hours and a maximum of 20 hours daily, indicating that the solar
system must be designed to accommodate peak load periods effectively.

5. Electrical System Assessment
• Current Electrical System: The existing electrical infrastructure in the
factory section is capable of integrating a modular unit solar system with
minimal adjustments.
• Inverter Space: the client said there is a new location to position the
inverter and battery unit which will be well ventilated (Air conditioned).• Wiring & Panel: The electrical panel and wiring were found to be in good
condition, but upgrading to support the 106kW solar system is
recommended.

6. Structural Integrity
• Roof Load Capacity: The roof structure is assessed to be capable of
supporting the weight of the solar panels and racking system.
• Mounting Feasibility: Both roof-mounted and ground-mounted options
were explored. The roof top can accommodate the panels needed for 106kw
solar system and if there be future additions, there is space for ground
mounted panels.

7. Environmental Considerations
• Sunlight Exposure: The site receives optimal sunlight, averaging 4-5
hours of sunlight per day.
• Weather Patterns: Weather conditions, including wind speeds and
temperature variations, are favorable for solar installations.

8. Safety Concerns
• Electrical Hazards: No significant electrical hazards were identified, but
standard safety precautions should be implemented during installation.
• Mitigation Measures: Recommendations include ensuring proper
grounding and surge protection to safeguard against electrical faults.

9. Recommendations
• Proceed with installing a modular unit solar system sized to handle the
106kW load, ensuring proper integration with the existing electrical
system.
• Upgrade electrical panels and wiring where necessary to support the
increased load from the solar system.
• Ensure regular monitoring and maintenance of the solar system post
installation to optimize performance and longevity.
• Installation of lightening arrestor to protect the roof-top panels.

10. Conclusion
The site inspection confirms that the factory section is suitable for a modular
unit solar system installation. The load documentation provided aligns with the
expected solar capacity of approximately 106 kW. Structural and electrical
conditions are favorable, with minimal adjustments required. Based on these
findings, the solar installation is both feasible and recommended.

• Load documentation by the site Engineer.

After the engineers reviewed the data from the on-site survey, they designed a 300KW solar energy system suitable for the customer's factory. If you also have industrial and commercial solar energy system needs, we can send engineers to provide on-site survey services in many countries in Africa.

TANFON Energy storage system Advantages:
1. It has both grid-connected and off-grid functions, and can connect multiple units in parallel
2. It is also as strong as a cow when used in countries with unstable power grids in Africa.
3. If you have a diesel generator, you can automatically turn on and off the diesel generator
4. EMS intelligent management system
5 Inverter and battery, MPPT controller in one cabinet, saving more space and easier to install.
6. Remote upgrade and maintenance
7. Placed outdoors, IP65 waterproof, cooling system keeps the temperature constant
If you want a smarter product for high-end scenarios, it is recommended to buy a high-end solar system.
