A local solar panel manufacturer in Kenya has won a government tender solar project for a hospital. The primary load of the hospital consists of air conditioners, with dozens of units requiring much more than the 150KW capacity provided by the system. However, the tender project has budget constraints, allowing only the purchase of a 150KW system. Additionally, the customer opted to configure the system with gel batteries to reduce costs and purchased an additional six gel batteries as backups.

Currently, the hospital relies on diesel generators for power supply, incurring high daily fuel costs. The solar system significantly reduces costs for the hospital. However, the 150KW capacity falls far short of meeting the customer's needs, prompting them to consider adding another system.

During installation, when the customer received the system, three out of the four controllers were found to be non-functional, presumably due to damage during transportation. To address this issue, our company immediately arranged for the air freight of three new controllers to the customer, bearing all the shipping costs. As it was a government project with strict delivery deadlines, the customer had to hand over the keys to the government as per the contract. The customer was highly satisfied with our after-sales service.

The system has been running smoothly for a month without any issues. The customer can monitor the operation of the inverters and controllers through our IoT online monitoring system.

One day, the inverter experienced a failure. After communication with the customer, we urgently arranged for the air freight of a set of IGBT and control boards to be sent to the customer. The customer promptly received the replacement parts and performed the necessary replacements, restoring the system's operation and minimizing losses for the hospital (as diesel generators consume a significant amount of fuel, which is expensive).
